Where To Buy Body Champ IT8070 Inversion Therapy Table

I am very pleased with this inversion table. Great price, fast shipping and it accomplished what I had hoped it would, which is relieve the pain from a bulging disc at L4-5. I've had the chiropractor visits and the physical therapy, but the table is what brings me the most relief. I just love it! My husband and I put the table together the day it arrived and it was fairly easy. I am so glad I opted for a table that has comfortable ankle foam rollers. I am 5'1" and have no problems at all adjusting the table so it works for me. I would definitely recommend this table to anyone looking for a inexpensive but effective inversion table.

Easy assemble but I'm not happy with the ankle brace lock pin hardware. The pin is held with a plastic nut and it cracked the very first day.
Instead of calling customer service, I fixed myself but I don't know how long it will last since I move this piece every time I exercise.Get more detail about Body Champ IT8070 Inversion Therapy Table.

Buying Body Champ IT8070 Inversion Therapy Table

I just recently started reading up on inversion tables. My neck/back have been killing me, and I've done a couple of things to try and figure out what's causing it, but so far no solutions. I'm in my late 20's, so I'm terrified of it just progressing with age. Real stiff and tense neck with my back aching. I spend most days in my home office sitting, so I figured a little inversion relaxation could be good. They say a lot of stress can be caused on the back/neck and hips from sitting a lot in an office setting. I considered visiting a chiropractor, but really, who can afford that right now?

I saw this on an amazon "deal of the day" and read the reviews. Sounded promising, so I got it as an early bday present to myself. Very easy to put together. For the most part its just a couple of bigger pieces and a few little ones you need to connect together. Takes about a 1/2 hour, tops. I love that it folds up for storage if need be. It's not huge, and it's light enough that I can move it around on my own with out my boyfriend's help. Though light enough, its also quite sturdy. I feel like I got my moneys worth.

I just took a spin on this, and its easy to get used to. Not only that, my neck already feels a lot more limber and pain free, and my back feels great. I'm really excited to get on this everyday! It also seems like it will be useful for crunches if I wanted, so a nice addition to my mini home gym. Like others, I will say that it will take some getting used to with the ankles. A little more padding certainly could not hurt, but it's much more comfortable with sneakers on. What I did to help was get some washclothes and fold them up twice and wrap them around the foam padding, then sew it on. Helped a great deal and made it easier to stay on longer. Definitely worth a hundred bucks and I look forward to seeing the benefits of a couple of minutes of inversion a day.

Q: What do you know about inversion therapy for back pain? The ads claim that hanging upside down can reverse the effects of gravity and increase the space between the vertebrae.
A.P., VIA THE INTERNET
A: Inversion therapy for back pain is an old idea that waxes and wanes in popularity. Now it seems to be waxing: the Internet offers a variety of tables (at $200 and up), chairs, boots, and other devices to facilitate hanging upside down. But there is little evidence that inversion therapy produces any benefit for back pain, except perhaps a temporary one. This is a form of traction--a method that's largely been discarded for treating back pain.
Inversion devices, according to Dr. Gary Brazina, an orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine specialist in Los Angeles, don't actually reverse the effects of gravity or increase the space between vertebrae, though they may temporarily extend the spine and briefly relieve muscle spasm. Potential side effects from hanging upside down include bleeding into the retina and headaches. It can also make some back problems, as well as hypertension, worse.
If you have back pain, consult a professional skilled in back care. Ask about treatments and exercises for your back. Inversion therapy is unlikely to help and may be harmful. Be skeptical of the wild claims made on websites selling inversion devices.
Bottom line: Don't try inversion therapy, especially not if you have heart disease, hypertension, glaucoma or other eye diseases, or are pregnant. If you do decide to try it, at least make sure there's someone around in case you need help.
